Sallie Meece, 83 of Rush Branch Road, departed this life on June 9, 1992.
She was born January 14, 1909 in Somerset to Willie Haney and Minnie Price Haney. She lived in Pulaski County, Kentucky all her life. She married Lee Meece, and together they had 4 children. Lee passed away in 1935,
just before their 4th child was born.
Sallie next married Clarence Roscoe Meece, and to them 6 children were born. Sallie, once again, became a widow, when Clarence passed away in 1953.
Sallie is preceded in death by her husbands, Lee & Clarence; a sister, Elizabeth; brother Charles Edward; infant children, Mary, James and Jessie, a daughter Edna Phillips, and 2 sons Albert and Clarence Meece.
She is survived by 3 sons and a daughter, and numerous grandchildren, nieces and nephews.
Burial was in the Rush Branch Cemetery.
