Marianne Milbrandt (Furst), went to be with her Lord on June 11, 2009. Marianne was born on July 28, 1928 to Fredrick and Eulalia (Petitjean) Furst in Elgin, IL.
Marrianne married G.Carl (Dutch)Danner in May of 1948. Together they had three children. Later she married Richard Wood Milbrandt in 1961. Together they had four children. She was always dedicated to her children. Marianne moved to Yuma, AZ in 1969 and later in 1976 she moved to Phoenix, AZ where she worked and retired from Revco Drug Store. After retirement, she moved back to Yuma where she resided until her death.
Our mother always had a smile on her face and was the life of the party. She had a gift for music and writing poetry. Her favorite hobbies were crafts, especially making quilts, she also loved board games, scrabble being one of her favorites.
Surviving is her brother George M Furst of Dunnellon, FL and her seven children, Karyl J. (Danner)Kaznak of Yuma, AZ; Chris Carl Danner and partner Shirley of West Palm Beach, FL; Yvonne M. (Danner)Becker and husband Bruce of Indian Mound, TN; Robin A. Milbrandt of Yuma AZ; Anthony Scott Milbrandt; Allison L. (Milbrandt) Harris and her husband Tony and Douglas A Milbrandt and wife Shannon, all of West Plains, MO; along with 25 Grandchildren and 28 great-grandchildren.
She was preceded in death by her parents and sisters, Leona Evans, Arlene Cheney, and Lidwenna Furst.
A Mass will be held in Crystal Lake, IL at St Thomas the Apostle Church, 451 West Terra Cotta Ave on Friday, June 26th 2009 at 10:30 am with final resting place at Union Cemetery, Crystal Lake.
Marianne will be greatly Missed by her family, friends and all who knew her.
