Edward Remer Gilson died Tuesday, September 9, at his home in Bedford Township. He was born in Bedford County, Pennsylvania April 4, 1869, a son of Walter B. and Elizabeth (Griffith) Gilson. He was married to the former Carrie Moses.
He is survived by the following children: Lloyd C. of New Paris R.?, Mrs. Samuel Ickes, Chambersburg: Edward W. Pittsburg: Harry W. Selinsgrove: Jesse at home: Mrs. Herman Rose, Chesterton. Membership was held in the Trinity Lutheran Church. Funeral services will be conducted this Friday afternoon at the Barefoot Funeral home, the Rev. Harvey Huntley officiating. Interment in the Bedford cemetery.
