Van was born to William Oliver Bittaker and Martha Beatrice Jarrell Bittaker on March 13, 1947 in Fitzgerald, Georgia. She passed away on 27 January 2011 of pancreatic cancer. She was a faithful servant of the Lord, attending the Parkway Assembly of God in Macon, Georgia. She married Ronald R. Wright.

Van was proceeded by the death of her parents; a brother, Lawson Oliver Bittaker (1944-1978), and sister, Sarah Josephine Bittaker McManus (1948-1986). She was a wonderful person who truly enjoyed time spent with her family and friends. In addition to her husband, she is survived by a sister, Patricia B. Bernosky (Eddy), of Naples, Fla.; nieces, Melynda B. Barrett and Amanda Bittaker, Woodstock, Ga.; nephew, Lawson O. Bittaker, Jr; step son, Ronald Mark Wright, Byron; step daughter, Audra Hicks (Paul), Byron, Ga.

Van was entered into rest on Thursday, 27 January 2011. McCullough Funeral Home, Warner Robins, Ga, was in charge of the arrangements.
