Obituary- Glasgow Daily Times- Mrs. Mary Susan Cox dies Here Friday - Mrs. Mary Susan Cox, 71, Glasgow, Route 7, died at the Community Hospital, Friday, August 10, at 11:00 a.m. She was a native of Barren County, a daughter of John M. and Martha Forrester Church and was a member of the Glasgow Baptist Church. She was a widow of the late G. C. Cox, who died in 1948. Survivors are a daughter, Miss Ruby Lee Cox, Indianapolis; a son, Robert Cox, Glasgow, Route 7; two brothers, Frank Church of Glasgow and Tom (* LJS-incorrect, Samuel Isaac) Church, Louisville; four half sisters, Mrs. Emma Stewart, Detroit; Mrs. Callie Riley, Glasgow; Mrs. Mamie Jewell Folks, Indianapolis; Mrs. Margaret Settle, Glasgow, and four grandchildren. Services will be held at Crow Funeral Home here at 2:00 p.m. Sunday, Sept 1, the Reverend Walter Church officiating. Burial will be in the family cemetery. The body will remain at the home on Route 7 until time for services.
