Canton, IL - Ruby Lucille Tuttle, 88, of Canton died at 11:30 a.m. Thursday, Jan. 20, 2011, at her residence.
Ruby was born December 14, 1922 in Cuba, IL to Elgin B. Sr. and Mabel B. (Cramblett) Wooddell. She married Glenn E. Tuttle on January 28, 1950. He preceded her in death on July 24, 1986.
She also was preceded by her special friend George Johnson, three brothers, Elgin B. Wooddell Jr., Ross Wooddell and Milburn Wooddell and one sister, Lois Wells.
Surviving are two daughters, Judy Tuttle and Glenna (Russell) Prather; grandson, Matthew Fletcher; and sister, Doris Jensen.
Ruby was a homemaker and had formerly worked for International Harvester Co. She was an avid gardener and was known for her beautiful flower beds.
Graveside services will be at Cuba Cemetery.
