John Dodson Castor, 55, died Wednesday morning, February 5, at his home thirteen miles northwest of Vic. Death was due to a heart attack. Dod, as he was familiarly known, was a member of one of the pioneer families of this vicinity. He was a veteran of World War II and a member of the American Legion Post of Arnett. Surviviors are his mother Mrs. Sarah Castor of Denver, Colorado; three sisters, Mrs. Jennie Dalrymple of Harmon, Mrs. Opal James of Los Angeles, Calif., and Mrs. Goldie Hulbert of Denver, Colo;and four brothers, Milton of Naturita, Colo., Don and Amos of Harmon and Orval of Portland, Oregon. Funeral Services are pending. Shaw Funeral Home in charge of arrangements.
