SHERLIN - PEARL BRYAN, 78, of 302 Druid Lane, North Chattanooga, died Sunday evening in a local hospital. He was a lifelong resident of Chattanooga and was of the Baptist faith. Mr. Sherlin had retired from the Southern Railway Co. after 47 years of service. He was a member of the International Association of Machinist. Survivors include his wife, Mrs. Florence Shadwick* Sherlin; two sons, Frank Bryan Sherlin, East Ridge, and Marvin Leroy Sherlin, Rossville; six grandchildren, eight great-grandchildren, several nieces and nephews. Funeral arrangements will be announced by Lane Funeral Home, Inc.
