Wright, Elmer Jr.

Known as Junior by his family and friends, passed away Thursday, January 20, 2011 at Sac-Osage Hospital, Osceola, MO.

Mr. Wright was born August 30, 1931, in Lowry City, MO. He was the eighth of nine children born to Elmer Patterson and Edna May (Foster) Wright, Sr.

He resided in the Truman Lake Manor Nursing Facility until his passing.

Junior was a faithful member of the First Baptist Church, Lowry City, MO and could be counted on to fold and hand out programs every Sunday.

Mr. Wright pastor provided Junior with transportation to church every Sunday. Junior joined the church on April 15, 1973.

Mr. Wright is survived by three sisters, one of Lone Jack, MO; one of Lowry City, MO & one & spouse of Lee's Summit, MO; sister in-law, of Clinton, MO, & sister in-law, of Gladstone, MO, 12 nephews, 6 nieces, and numerous great and great-great nephews and nieces. Info from Obituary

Mr. Wright is preceded in death by his parents Elmer P.Sr. & Edna May (Foster) Wright.; an infant sister, Russee Wright; brothers, Edmond Wright, Lorenzo Wright, & Melford Wright; one sister in–law, Mildred Wright; a sister, Ila Osborn and husband Harry, two brothers in-law, Basil Baker and Howard Brack, one niece and two nephews.
