Charles A. Banfield, aged 77 years, died at his home in Danby at 4 o'clock this morning after a brief illness. He leaves a wife and two daughters, Mrs. Polly Meeker of Ithaca and Mrs. Ellen Grant of Etna.
The funeral will be held at 1:30 o'clock Sunday from the family home, the Rev. J.F. Bradburn officiating. Burial will be in the Rural Cemetery at Danby.
