FLEETWOOD-- Carlisle Morgan, was born December 2, 1927 in Tulsa, OK. He attended his school years in Tulsa and graduated from the Oklahoma Military Academy. He attended college at the University of Oklahoma where he was a member of Sigma Nu Fraternity. He graduated from the University of Tulsa with a Bachelor's degree in Petroleum Engineering. He passed away September 26, 1997. Carlisle is survived by: his wife, Joan; twin daughters, Elizabeth and husband, Todd Price and Polly and husband, John Griffin, both of Muskogee; 3 grandchildren, Fleet and Greer Griffin, Morgan Price, and was looking forward to his first granddaughter; mother-in-law, Mrs. Hugh Wright, Tulsa; sister-in-law, Jean Tate, Tulsa; many nieces and nephews. He is further survived by his twin sister, Amanda Quam and sister, Elizabeth Bixler. He was a self-employed oilman. He loved boating and flying, which was always at top speed and was his passion. However, he was still able to enjoy and master the game of golf as well at a slower pace. Carlisle was a member of the Petroleum Landman's Assoc. and Quail Creek Golf and Country Club. He was a member of Westminster Presbyterian Church. Service will be at 11 a.m., Saturday, September 27 at Westminster Presbyterian Church. Burial will be at Memorial Park Cemetery, Muskogee, OK at 3 p.m., Monday. Donations may be made to the Oklahoma Medical Research Foundation, cancer research and Westminster Presbyterian Church.
