Winnie E. Adamson,62,died last Friday in Memorial Medical Center in Savannah after a long illness. The Long County native had lived in Glennville since 1950. She was a member of Glennville United Methodist Church. She had worked for the Regional Community Action Center in Reidsville for 18 years.
She is survived by two daughters, Paula Wolf of Pine Harbor and Christi Adamson of Glennville, and eight grandchildren.
Funeral services were held Sunday at 3 p.m. in the Rimes Mortuary Chapel conducted by Rev. John Haney. Burial will be the Glennville City Cemetery.
Pallbearers were Paul Parks, Lang Rogers, Jay Folsom, Dale Parker, Bobby Folsom, and Joe Folsom.
