BRADLEY, WILLIAM DAVID "DAVE"; 93; of Cuyahoga Falls, OH, formerly of Waterford, MI; died Friday, January 21, 2011; at Akron City Hospital, Akron, OH. He was born February 9, 1917 in Crenshaw County, AL to Thomas E. and Bertha (Salter) Bradley. He was a member of Central United Methodist Church of Waterford Michigan. Dave was a US Army W.W. II veteran with 2 Purple Hearts. Dave was a charming, southern gentleman who loved his wife and family very much. After retiring from selling real estate he enjoyed traveling, gardening, cooking, canning, baking and helping on the Lappin Farm. Dave was very involved in activities at the Central United Methodist Church until he and Edith Louise moved to Ohio to spend more time with family. We all love you Dave and will miss you a great deal. He is survived by sisters, Hazel Scott of Pulaski, TN and Waldine Hickson of Pulaski, TN; sister-in-law, Betty Lappin; many nieces and nephews. He was preceded in death by his wife, Edith Louise (Lappin) Bradley; brother, James Bradley; brother-in-law, Harley G. Lappin and sister-in-law, Elizabeth Fackler. Funeral Services will be held 11 a.m. Monday, January 31, 2011 at Central United Methodist Church, 3882 Highland Road, Waterford, MI. Interment at White Chapel Cemetery will be private. Memorial contributions may be made in his name to the Central United Methodist Church, 3882 Highland Rd, Waterford, Michigan 48328-2329.
