In 1880, George, age 31, a farmer, born in Ohio; and Susan, age 22, born in Ohio; were living in Bedford, Ohio (Meigs County), with three children: Alice B., age 4; Edwin, age 2; and John, age 4 months; all born in Ohio.
George died on February 17, 1917, in Macomb, Oklahoma (Pottawatomie County) and was buried in the Mars Hill Cemetery in Saint Louis, Oklahoma (Pottawatomie County).
Susan died on April 3, 1925, in Tecumseh, Oklahoma (Pottawatomie County) and was buried beside her husband.
