Lillian Downs Miller, 81, our beloved wife, mother, grandmother and sister, returned to her Heavenly Father on November 8, 1991.

Born June 20, 1910 in Richland, Oregon to Parley and Lillian Beckstead Downs. Married Leonard LeRoy Miller in Salt Lake City on March 15, 1927. Marriage was solemnized in the Salt Lake LDS Temple. Lillian was an active member of the LDS Church, serving as Relief Society President and in the Primary. Member Daughters of Utah Pioneers as well as being very civic minded, always seeing to the needs of neighbors and friends.

Some of her most enjoyable activities were making and collecting ''nic-nacs'' and cooking. ''The greatest accomplishment was her love of her family and grandchildren.''

Survivors, husband, Leonard, Copperton; daughter, Mrs. Earl (Joyce) Duffin, South Jordan; son, L. Ned Miller and wife Karlene, Upland, California; nine grandchildren, 27 great grandchildren and one great, great granddaughter; sister, Darlene Ray, Baker, Oregon. Preceded in death by six brother and sisters.

Funeral services Tuesday, November 12, 1991, at 11:00 a.m. in the Copperton LDS Ward Chapel, Copperton, Utah. Friends may call at Goff Mortuary 8090 So. State, Midvale, Monday 6-8 p.m. and Tuesday at the church from 9:45-10:45 a.m. Burial, Midvale City Cemetery.
