Mr. Cooper was born August 12, 1893, in Williamsburg County. He was a son of the late Willam Allen Cooper and the late Mrs. Frances Parsons Cooper. He was a retired farmer and a member of Suttons Methodist Church.
His funeral was in Suttons Methodist Church, on Saturday, March 27. The Rev. H. H. Reed and the Rev. Ed Griggs officiated. Burial, directed by Williamsburg Funeral Home, was in the Church cemetery.
Mr. Cooper was survived by: his widow, Mrs. Sarah Moree Cooper; a son, Samuel Newman Cooper of Andrews; a daughter, Mrs. Sarah Mildred Horns of Lake City; eight grandchildren; and four great-ggrandchildren.
