Mrs. Carrie Baer Dies In Orleans
Mrs. Carrie Baer, formerly of Monroe, died shortly after midnight in New Orleans. She was 86.
Mrs. Baer was a resident of Monroe for the greatest portion of her life. Her late husband was a member of the I. Baer Company, a dry goods firm, which was in business here for a number of years.
Funeral services will be held at 3:30 p.m. Tuesday at Hixon Brothers Funeral home. Interment will follow in the Jewish cemetery with Rabbi Jacob Lantz officiating.
Survivors are one daughter, Mrs. Sam Klotz, of Napoleonville; a sister, Mrs. Minnie Lowenberg, of Monroe; four grandchildren, Mrs. David Klotz, of Shreveport, Mrs. David Masur, of Monroe; Leopold Baer and Richard Baer, both of Houston, Tex., and two great grandchildren.
