Graveside service for Nancy Padilla, 42, of Decatur is 10 a.m. Friday, Sept. 4, at Rose Hill Cemetery in Merkel.
Padilla died Monday, Aug. 31, 2009, in Decatur.
Born Aug. 12, 1967, in Dallas to Johnie Junior and Carolyn Kay (Denman) Brenem, she graduated from Trent High School in 1985. She married Ron Padilla March 1, 1997, in Merkel. She was a member of the Tabernacle of David. She was involved in youth ministry in Bridgeport and street ministry in Dallas.
She was preceded in death by her parents.
She is survived by her husband; daughters, Shanna Green and husband, Tony, of Chico and Alyssa Ekberg of San Angelo; sister, Marcalinda Centner and husband, Ed, of Merkel; brother, Joey Brenem and wife, Nancy, of West Virginia; grandchildren, Eva, Savanah and Evan; and several nieces and nephews.
