John W. Werner. Prof. John Wilhelm Werner, aged 86 years, died at the home of Fordyce Meacham, in North Bridgewater, on Monday night, Jan 22, 1940. Mr. Werner had been cared for at the home of Mr. Meacham for the past three months. The deceased was a native of Germany, coming tot his country as a young man. He spent the greater part of his life in Friendsville and followed piano tuning and music teaching, and was a musician of some ability. He is survived by two daughters.
The funeral will be held this (Thursday) afternoon at 2 from the Bowen Funeral Home, Montrose, the Rev. C. A. Ohman officiating. Interment will be made in the Birchardville Cemetery.
