Funeral services were to be held today, 27 June 1961, at 2:30 p.m. in Sanford Funeral Home for Richard Glenn Adams, 7, of Fair Oaks, who drowned Saturday while on an outing with his parents at Folsom Lake, Sacramento County.

Bishop Ray Famas of Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-Day Saints was to officiate. Burial will be in Memorial Park Cemetery.

Young Adams was born July 28, 1953 in Oroville, and had moved to Fair Oaks five years ago. He was a student at Fair Oaks Grammar School.

Survivors include his mother and stepfather, Mr. and Mrs. Jack Roullett of Fair Oaks; his father, Homer Adams of Oroville; three brothers, Dean Adams and Home E Adams Jr. of Oroville, and Clint Roullett of Fair Oaks; a sister, Linda Adams of Fair Oaks; maternal grandmother Mrs. Margaret Dickinson of Oroville; paternal grandmother Mrs. Cordelia Bailey of Arkansas; four uncles, Doyle and Max Dickinson of Oregon, Vern and Richard Dickinson of Oroville; three aunts, Mrs. Jean Seibel and Mrs. Ronnie Dickinson of Oregon, and Mrs. Claudia Smith of Oroville.
