Wilma Floy Harper, 79. died at her home in Waldport on July 13, 1990.
She was born Aug. 20, 1910 in Tidewater to James Thissell and Ida Ethel Barclay Thissell. Mrs. Harper had been a resident of Waldport since 1945. She had been a homemaker for most of her life.
Her husband, John Harper, preceded her in death on
Aug. 6, 1976.
Survivors include one son, David Harper of Seaside; three daughters, Jeri Hershberger of Waldport, Doris Fossi of Portland, and Joyce Hockema of Cascadia; and one brother, Kenneth Thissell of Tidewater.
Private family services will be held at 1 p.m. Saturday at Eureka Cemetery in Newport.
Contributions may be made to the Waldport Ambulance or to the Veterans of Foreign Wars in Mrs. Harper's memory.
