Our loving husband, dad, and grandpa Donald Wayne Bennett, 59, passed away January 31, 1992 at his home after a courageous three and a half year battle with cancer.

Born July 9, 1932 in Murray, Utah to James Harry and Almae Hogenson Bennett. Married Phyllis Mortensen in Sandy, Utah September 26, 1955. He was a graduate of Jordan High School and worked as a brick mason.

Survived by wife, Phyllis; sons, Kym, Murray; Don and Doug, Draper; daughters, Karen (Toby) Glenn, Kelly (Jon) Winegar, West Jordan; Tamra Semon, South Jordan; Shelly (Bill) Haney, Riverton; father and wife James and Leila Bennett, Medford, Oregon; sister, Mardell Browne, California; and a very caring mother-in-law, Clara Mortensen; 12 grandchildren; preceded in death by his mother; two brothers, Sheldon and Wendell; one son, Kerry; and a granddaughter, Tonya Glenn.

Graveside services Tuesday, Feb. 4, 11 a.m., Midvale City Cemetery, 450 West 7500 South. Friends may call at Goff Mortuary, 8090 So. State, Monday 6-8 p.m. and Tuesday 10-10:45 a.m.
