He married Elizabeth Schaeffer 1798 in about 1818 and they had 7 children - Sarah 1819 (buried Shalters), Samuel 1821 (my direct ancestor, buried Beckers in Richmond Twp), Catherine 1822, William 1825 (buried Shalters), Jacob 1828 (buried Shalters), Elizabeth 1833 (buried Shalters), Anna 1836.

Gravestone is white marble, 4ft high, 2ft wide, 2in thick. The back is to the church. On the left is son Jacob, on the right is wife Elizabeth & daughter Elizabeth. Daughter Sarah & hurband Gift are nearer to the church and nearer yet is son William & spouse Maria Noll.
