Elsie F. O'Laughlin, age 92, died Tuesday, October 5, 2010 at the Fond du Lac Lutheran Home. She was born on March 25, 1918 the daughter of Wynerd and Eva (Jones) Pixley. On October 28, 1944 she married Leonard R. O'Laughlin at St. Mary's in Fond du Lac. He preceded her in death on October 1, 2010. Elsie was a waitress for many years at Schreiner's, Pizza Hut, and Hob Nob and also worked for ten years at Baker Cheese. She was a member of Shepherd of the Hills Church since 1944, a member of the Knights of Columbus Auxiliary, Loaves and Fishes, and former Vice President of Daughters of Isabella. Elsie volunteered for many years in the kitchen at the Dotyville Picnic for St. Michael's Church.

SURVIVORS: two children, Charles (Connie) O'Laughlin of St. Cloud, Kathy (Gary) Madritsch of Fond du Lac, eight grandchildren, Candace (Pat) Burns of Fond du Lac, David (Julie) O'Laughlin of Fond du Lac, Kellie O'Laughlin of Fond du Lac, Melissa (Jeff) Gassner of Fond du Lac, Nick Madritsch of Madison, WI, Jody (Clinton) Cheeney of Wyoming, Jeff Acord of Wyoming, Rick (Laurie) Reinhart of Fond du Lac, two sisters Ethel Rumbuc and Nonie "Ellie" Lohse both of Fond du Lac, thirteen great-grandchildren, son in law, Jim Acord of Wyoming, daughter in law, Mary Reinhart, and other relatives and friends. She was preceded in death by her first husband Joseph Reinhart in 1942, her husband Leonard O'Laughlin, three children, Joanne Acord, Ronald Reinhart, and David O'Laughlin, one granddaughter, Christa O'Laughlin, one brother, and three sisters.


Funeral Information
VISITATION: Friday, October 8, 2010 from 4-8 P.M. at Uecker-Witt Funeral Home, 524 N. Park Ave, Fond du Lac. FUNERAL: Saturday, October 9, 2010 at 1:00 P.M. at Shepherd of the Hills Church, W1562 County Road B, Eden, with the Reverend Joe Juknialis officiating. Burial will follow at St. Michael's Cemetery, Dotyville.
