Sarah C. Patterson, age 95, of 114 Wiggs Lane, of Weatherford died on June 22, 1971 at 6:10 p.m. at the Resthaven Nursing Home in Weatherford after a lengthy illness. She had been a resident of Weatherford for one and a half years and had been in Mineral Wells for over 30 years.

Funeral services will be held at Baum-Carlock-Bumgardner Funeral Chapel on Thursday, June 24 at 3:00 p.m. with interment following at Sturdivant cemetery. Services will be conducted by Victor White and will be assisted by George Farenkoff.

She was married at Big Lake Texas on May 21, 1927 to the Judge John D. Patterson, who died on October 17, 1966. Mrs. Patterson was a housewife. She was a member of the Jehovahs Witnesses.

Survivors include three daughters, Mrs. E. A. Hudson, Waco, Mrs. W. P. Hines, Weatherford; Mrs. Joe Carter, Weatherford and one son, W. T. Long, McAllen; one brother, A. W. Conway, California, 9 grandchildren and five great-grandchildren, and 4 great-great-grandchildren.

Pallbearers will be Bill Carter, Joe Carter, Jack Crane, Jackie Crane, Bobby Howard and Ki Kilander.
