He died Oct. 7, 2010, at Lawrence Memorial Hospital.
He was born Sept. 6, 1950, in Lawrence, the son of Carl and Norraine M. Roll Amerine.
Mr. Amerine graduated from Lawrence High School in 1968. He also attended Barton County Community College.
He most recently held a variety of retail sales positions, worked on the family farm, and he had also worked for Universal Insurance Company.
He was a member of Plymouth Congregational Church and Quails Unlimited.
Survivors include his mother, Norraine, Perry; two brothers, Ronald L. Amerine, Belleview, Fla., and Michael R. Amerine, Lawrence; and one sister, Carla Westheffer, Lawrence.
