Mrs. Elizabeth Allen Furbeck, wife of Rollin J. Furbeck, son of Warren F. Furbeck of Oak Park, passed away on February 2 at her home in New York. She was a most remarkable woman, brilliant in mind and great thoughtfulness for others.
She was the daughter of the late Charles and Carrie Allen of Rockford, Ill. She is survived by her husband and two daughters, Mrs. Edith Pallent of London, Eng., and Miss Phylis Furbeck of New York.
The funeral services were held on Saturday at the chapel in Forest Home. Dr Albert W. Palmer of First Congregational church, conducted the service.
