Mrs. Mary Alice Guthrie, widow of George W. Guthrie, died at her home in Poolesville, Tuesday afternoon at 2:30 o'clock, aged 83 years, 8 months, 13 days. She was a daughter of the late Peter and Sarah Veatch, and is survived by three children, Laurence Guthrie, Poolesville; Ovid Guthrie, Indiana, Pa.; Mrs. Elsie Seville, Trenton, N.J.
Funeral from the home of her son in Poolesville, Thursday morning at 10:30 o'clock, conducted by Rev. Lewis Rudasill. Interment Monocacy Cemetery, Beallsville. William B. Hilton, funeral director.
