PRICE - Our beloved Louise Hannah Mecham passed away in Price Dec. 1, 2001 following a lengthy illness.

She was born Jan 23, 1917 in Huntington to Lafayette and Elsie Cyrene Hicks Chidester. She was married to Nolan D. Mecham Sept. 19, 1935 and later sealed together in the Salt Lake LDS Temple.

She was raised in Altonah. She was an active member of the LDS Church where she served in many callings including relief society, primary president, and stake primary board which she enjoyed. She enjoyed many hobbies including reading, quilting, crocheting, oil painting, gardening, camping and especially loved dancing with her husband. She was a cook for the school lunch program, and actively worked for many years at the senior center in Price.

She is survived by daughter, Noleena (Donald) Denison, Price; two sons, Arlan D. (JoAnn) Mecham, West Valley; and Clive (Cathie) Mecham, Sandy. Also 12 grandchildren and 22 great-grandchildren. She was the last of nine children in her family to pass away. She is also preceded in death by parents; husband; and a granddaughter, Debbie.

Friends may call for a visitation at the Fausett Mortuary in Price Monday, Dec. 3, 6 to 8 p.m. Funeral services will be held Tuesday, Dec. 4, 11 a.m., in the Price LDS 4th Ward Chapel, with a viewing at the church one hour prior to services. Interment, Price City Cemetery.
