PRICE- Alvin L. Marx, 74, died Thursday, 7:25 a.m., in a Dragerton hospital after an illness.

Born Aug. 11, 1887, Moroni, Sanpete County, to Phillip and Maria Nielson Marx. Married Wayne Cloward, Dec. 1, 1909, Manti. Later Solemnized Manti Temple, Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints. Retired coal miner. Price resident 24 years.

Survivors: widow, Price; sons, daughters, Floyd, Jay, Kenneth, Blain, Mrs. Ada Oakden, Mrs. Eloise World, Mrs. Pauline Shorts, Mrs.Maxine Powell, all Price; Verdell, Roosevelt; 28 grandchildren.

Funeral Saturday, 2 p.m., Price Third LDS Ward Chapel. Friends call Mitchell Funeral Home Friday evening, ward chapel Saturday after 1 p.m. Burial, Price City Cemtery.
