Agnes M. Hawse, 87, of Cheswick, passed away Saturday Jan. 22, 2011, at UPMC St. Margaret, Aspinwall. She was born Aug. 21, 1923, in Greensburg, to the late Joseph and Jennie Buscaglio, and was a resident of this area for many years. She was a member of Our Lady of Victory Roman Catholic Church in Harwick and was a member of the Confraternity of Christian Women at the church. Survivors include her son, William J. (Linda) Hawse, of Elizabeth Township; daughter, Joanne (Albert) Gaydos, of Harwick; granddaughter, Amy (Douglas) Lazorick, of New Kensington; grandson, Dr. William F. Hawse, of South Bend, Ind.; sisters, Ange Alterie and Rosemary Buscaglio; and brother, Joseph Buscaglio, all of Greensburg; He was preceded in death by her parents; husband, William W. Hawse; and four brothers, Samuel, Nicholas, John and Frank Buscaglio. Family and friends will be received from 2 to 4 and 6 to 8 p.m. Monday in Cheswick at the CHARLES B. JARVIE FUNERAL HOME INC., 1607 Pittsburgh St. Christian Funeral Mass will be celebrated at 10 a.m. Tuesday in Our Lady of Victory Church. Entombment will be in Greenwood Memorial Park, Lower Burrell.
