James O. Stearns
Service will be 2 p.m. Tuesday at Workmans Creek United Methodist Church with the Rev. Chalmer Abrams officiating. Burial will be in the Church Cemetery. Friends may call after 5 p.m. today at the home of Dorothy Walker, Clear Creek.
Mr. Stearns, 86, of Clear Creek, died Saturday in Beckley Hospital after a long illness. He was a retired timberman and he was a Methodist.
Surviving: sister, Mrs. Okey Maynor of Clear Creek. Rose-Quesenberry Funeral Home, Beckley, is in charge of arrangements.
