Samuel Adolph Allred, Jr., 64, of Centerclair Nursing Home, died Friday, Nov. 28, at the nursing home.
Mr. Allred was born Oct. 14, 1933, to Samuel Adolph Allred Sr. and leota McArthur Allred. He was owner/operator of Hi-Gloss Coating Co. and CBC Wholesale Co.
Surviving are two sons, Rick Allred and Mike Allred, both of Lexington; two daughters, Debbie Newsom and Cathy Warfford, both of Lexington; a brother, Bill Allred of Lexington; two sisters, Betty Pardue of Lexington and Helen Benson of Monroe; and nine grandchildren.
