Mrs. Bloss Royall, 56, wife of Albert Royall of Athens, who had been critically ill for several days, passed away at the family home at 310 South Prairieville street at 5:00 o'clock Monday afternoon. She had been confined to her home for the past six weeks and early last week her condition was pronounce serious. She had been in a comatose condition for the past three days.
Funeral services were held at 3:00 o'clock Tuesday afternoon at the First Baptist Church with Rev. M.L. Fuller, pastor, in charge, assisted by Rev. Roy MacLeod, Presbyterian pastor. Burial was at the city cemetery in charge of Carroll & Lehr.
Pallbearers were Jack Newbill, Royall Lee, Kenneth Smith, Dee Richardson, George Waldrip and Will Dorbandt.
Survivors include her husband and one daughter, Miss Dora Mae, teacher in the Cross Roads school. She is also survived by her mother, Mrs. M.E. Richardson and three sisters, Mrs. G.C. Basham and Mrs. A.S. Ford of Athens and Mrs. Jack Nash of Kaufman.
Mrs. Royall was born in Athens December 15, 1882, being the daughter of Mrs. M.E. Richardson and her late husband. She had lived her entire life in this city.
She had been a member of the Baptist Church practically all her life.
