Our loving husband, father, and grandfather, Glen Royce Carter, age 61, passed away April 1, 1992, in Salt Lake City, Utah.
Born June 30, 1930 in Longdale, Oklahoma, to Joe R. and Pearl Scott Carter. He married Neva L. Garbett, May 17, 1952. Retired from the Strategic Air Command as a Master Sergeant after serving 22 years (1947 - 1970) with the U.S. Air Force. He also worked for 20 years at Hill Air Base as an electronics technician. He loved to fish and enjoyed watching football and basketball games.
Survived by his wife, Salt Lake City; son, Glen R. Carter, Jr., Salt Lake City; daughter, Connie Gardner and husband, Robert, Salt Lake City; two granddaughters, Mae Gardner and Jacy Carter; four brothers and three sisters, Joseph R., LeRoy, and Dick Carter; Sonny Meadowcroft, all Salt Lake City; Betty and Barbara Meadowcroft, both of Long Island, New York; and Joanne Carter, Montana.
Graveside services Monday, April 7, 2 p.m., Elysian Burial Gardens, 1075 East 4580 South.
Under direction of Larkin Mortuary. ''He was loved so much and will be missed forever.''
