"Hopkins Funeral Will Be At 2:30 This Afternoon. Relatives and friends of Claude William Hopkins, Rodeo, N. Mex. Merchant and rancher who died on Wednesday, will pay tribute to his memory this afternoon at 2:30 when funeral services are conducted at the Christian church by the pastor, Rev. Tolbert F. Weaver.
The body will be carried from Porter and Ames chapel to the church and following the services there, it will be buried in Calvary cemetery.
Mr. Hopkins had been a resident of New Mexico since 1917 when he came to Rodeo from his native state, Missouri.
Surviving Mr. Hopkins are his wife, his son John aged 8; his daughter Ninell aged 2; three sisters, Mrs. J.W. Dotson, Reno, Mo; Mrs. C.P. Hagen, Rodeo, N. M; Mrs. C.H. Brown, Fair Plains, Mo. And a brother F.C. Hopkins of Dunegan, Mo."
