John was born December 3, 1831 in Callaway County, Missouri, the son of John Robert and Sara (Hale) Craighead. He was united in marriage to Sara Hall and she preceded him in death. Mr. Craighead was a Stone Mason.
Interment March 16, 1915 in Hams Prairie Cemetary with Undertaker P.N. Herndon in charge of services.
