Shelburne Falls, Aug.19 - funeral of Mrs Adelia C Smith, 89, widow of Omar F Smith, who died last Thursday morning in the home of her grandson, Gilbert Smith, in Leyden, following a fall she sustained on the previous Sunday, was held yesterday afternoon at 2 in Johnson's funeral home with Rev. Frederick Dixon of Bernardston, former pastor of Heath Union church, officiating. Burial was in the family lot in North Heath cemetery. Mrs Smith had made her home in Heath for more than 40 years prior to going to Leyden in January of this year. She is survived by two step-sons Carl Smith and Paul F Smith of Heath, and a brother Samuel Day of Gill, and several grandchildren.
