A. B. (Bert) Miller,83 of Route 3, Homer passed away Wednesday at 6:30 a.m. at Albion Community Hospital. He had been ill for sometime.
Mr Miller was born January 14, 1886 in Eaton Co., the son of John Edward and Sarah Katherine (Hinebaugh) Miller.
Most of his life has been spent in the Albion-Homer area.
On July 17, 1904 he married Miss Josephine Keesler.
Mr. Miller was a farmer for many years. He was also a distributor for Sinclair and Standard Oil Company for several years.
The Millers celebrated their 65th wedding anniversary this year.
Surviving are his widow, Josephine, a daughter, Mrs Thomas A (Elsie) Brown of Homer, Mi., three sons. Earl and Daryl of Jackson and Russell of Albion: 7 grandchildren, two sisters, Mrs Mabel Ford of Albion and Mrs Glenn (Cora) Patterson of Concord. Two sons, Lynn an Milo preceded him in death,, also a brother and a sister.
Funeral services were held Friday at 2 p.m. at the Tidd Funeral Homer of Homer, Mi, with the Rev. Clifton a Scott officiating. Interment in Fisher cemetery, southeast of Homer, Mi.
