Ada Rae Watts Jenkins age 76 died on October 10, 2001 in Sandy Utah.

She was born on July 19, 1925, In Bingham Canyon, Utah, to Joseph Albert and Ada Rae Bates Watts.

She married Albert E. Jenkins on Jan. 7, 1943, marriage was solemnized in the Salt Lake Temple on Sept. 5, 1963.

Rae was very active in the LDS Church, serving in many ward and stake callings. She served a full time mission with her husband at the Jordan River Temple. She was also very active in Community Service, serving as a Girl Scout leader, PTA President, president of the Midvale Ladies Community Club, guide at the DUP Museum, Wheeler Farm and Midvale Historical Museum. She served 25 years as an Election Judge. Rae was a very unique woman and will be greatly missed.

She is survived by: husband, two daughters, Paula Steinicke, Kim (Bill) Armstrong, eight grandchildren, and 12 great grandchildren. She was preceded in death by parents, two sisters, and brother, Joe Watts, son-in-law, Arno Steinicke, granddaughter, Holly (Trent) Jacobson.

Funeral services will be held on Monday, Oct. 15, 2001, 1 p.m. in the Midvale 3rd Ward, 7825 S. Olympus St. (220 W.) Midvale, UT. A viewing will be held Sunday, 6-8 p.m. in the Lake Hills Memorial Mortuary Chapel, 10055 So. State St. Sandy, Utah. Interment: Larkin Sunset Gardens, 10600 S. 1700 E. Sandy, Utah
