Hugh Blair McGee was born in New Boston, Bowie County Texas, to Thomas Turner McGee (1836-1914) & Margaret Gabrilla Underwood (1851-1923) He Married to Minnie Ola Ayers on June 23, 1913. She was a daughter of Reverend Thomas Daniel Ayers & Ida E. Looney. Hugh and Minnie were the parents of Morris Wayne McGee and George Benton McGee.
