Bobbie T. Jannot, 77, passed away Wednesday, Jan. 12, 2011, in Grand Coulee. Born June 17, 1933, to Joseph and Georgia Jannot in Spokane, Bobbie grew up on his parents' Keller ranch.

A veteran of the U.S. Army, Bobbie married Barbara Zuehlke-Wilke in Spokane on July 14, 1979. A lifelong resident, Bobbie served on the Ferry County Fair Board for 50 years, during which time he held positions with the Fair Planning Commission, Market Sales, was Weigh Master and Livestock Barn Supervisor. Bobbie was past president of Keller Community Club, served on the Ferry County Weed Board and as treasurer with the Keller Senior Citizen Center. He was well known as an area meat cutter and butcher who happily processed his friends' beef and venison every fall weekend. Bobbie loved raising beef and "making hay" on his farm. Bobbie loved any excuse to go fishing with his fishing buddy – Mark, but his great love was spending time with his family, who loved him dearly in return.

On Monday, January 17, 2011, following 31 years together on their Keller, Washington ranch, Bobbie's beloved wife Barbara joined him in Heaven. Their legacy lives on through their children: Kathy Stokes (Mike) of St. Maries, Idaho and Mark Wilke of Spokane; grandchildren: Megan Davis (Brian) of St. Maries, Idaho and Whitney Wilke of Spokane; great-grandchildren: Judah and Jordan Davis; his brother Morgan T. Jannot (Peggy) of Wilbur, as well as many nephews and nieces.

A celebration of Bobbie's life took place on Monday, January 17, at the Keller Washington Community Hall, with burial at Keller Cemetery.

Bobbie's family requests that donations be made in his name to the Ferry County Fair Association, 14 Lawson Way, Republic, WA 99166. Strate Funeral Home of Grand Coulee, is honored to be helping Bobbie's family.
