Marilyn Lancaster Spillers, 63, wife of Allen Spillers for 42 years, was called home to God on Friday, January 21st, after a six year battle with cancer.

Mrs. Spillers was born September 10, 1947 in Simpsonville to John Angus Lancaster Sr. and the late Callie Louise Hipps Lancaster. She was a member of Clear Spring Baptist Church and the WMU.

Surviving, in addition to her husband, are a son, Andrew Spillers and wife Heather; a daughter, Angie Robinson and husband Jason; a brother, John Lancaster Jr. and wife Delores; two sisters, Anne Worthy, and Carol Counts and husband Cliff; eight grandchildren; and her beloved dog Cleo. She was predeceased by a brother, Bruce Lancaster.

Funeral services will be 2:30 p.m. Sunday at Clear Spring Baptist Church, officiated by Rev. Cameron Byrd, followed by burial in Cannon Memorial Park. The family will receive friends at the church prior to the service from 1-2:30 p.m.

Memorials may be made to the American Cancer Society, 154 Milestone Way, Greenville, SC 29615.
