GREENWOOD - Robert "Peewee" Ainsworth, age 65, died Thursday January 20, 2011 at his residence from respiratory failure.
He was born in Greenwood August 15, 1945 to the Late A.B and Katie Allison Ainsworth and resided there all his life. He attended the Greenwood Public Schools and was a member of the West President Church of Christ. He retired from Greenwood Utilities as an operator, and he also owned and operated Ainsworth Deer Processing in Greenwood. He was a U.S. Navy Veteran of the Vietnam War.
Visitation will be 12:00 to 2:00 PM Monday 1/24/2011 at Williams & Lord Funeral Home in Greenwood. Funeral Services will be 2:00 PM Monday at Greenwood Memorial Park Cemetery with Rev. Duane Jensen officiating.
Burial will be in Greenwood Memorial Park Cemetery. Pallbearers will be Howard "Buck" Hill, Kerry Sims, John Elliott, Ken Bennett, Jimmy Hood, and Aubrey "Rusty" Smith. Honorary Pallbearers will be Joe Serio and Stanley Mulvihill.
He is survived by his Wife, Nancy Armstrong Ainsworth of Greenwood, Son, Robert "Bobby" Ainsworth of Greenwood, Daughter, Lesley Clark of Greenwood, Sister, Mary Clark of Sidon, Grandchild, Joseph Anthony Storms, Grandchild, Jonathon Daniel Ainsworth.
