She married Billie J. Welch, May 12, 1949. Together they had two sons, Danny and Gary and one daughter, Debbie. Grandchildren include Bryan Welch, Angie Formby, Jaclynn Welch, Andrea Welch, Greg Austin and also great grandchildren.
A celebration of her life was held in the home of Norma Welch, a daughter-in-law.

Survivors include a son, Gary Welch and wife, Pat, of Keller; a daughter, Debbie Welch Austin and husband, Sam, of Clarksville; a daughter-in-law, Norma Welch, of Blossom; a sister, Thelma Hanson, of Springfield, Ore.; her grandchildren, Bryan Welch, Angie Formby, Jaclynn Welch, Andrea Welch and Greg Austin; and a number of great-grandchildren, nieces and nephews.
