Patricia M. Johnson, 72 of Huntington passed away at 5:20 p.m. on Wednesday, April 14, 2009 at Parkview Hospital in Fort Wayne.
She was a 1954 graduate of New Martinsville High School in West Virginia. She was the owner of Pat's Quick Cleaning Service for 24 years, retiring in 2007. She was a member of the Northview Church of Christ.
She was born on November 17, 1936 in New Martinsville, West Virginia, a daughter of Arthur and Cleona (Inghram) Auten.
She was united in marriage to Donald A. Johnson on June 19, 1978 in Huntington. Her husband survives.
Additional survivors include two daughters: Mrs. Roger (Felicia) Staley of Huntington; Mrs. Larry (Karen) Price of Huntington; three brothers: Harold (Flossie) Auten of Ohio; Junior (Ruby) Auten of Ohio; Harry "Pete" (Menda) Auten of Indiana; seven sisters: Mrs. Dave (Nancy) Rhineburger of Kentucky; Mrs. Bo (Kathleen) Johnson of Ohio; Mrs. Ken (Donna) Arnold of Ohio; Margaret Hodge of Ohio; Mrs. Steve (Sharon) Doersam of Ohio; Mrs. Bob (Kathy) Yoder of Ohio; Brenda Schnitz of Ohio; five grandchildren and one great grandchild.
She was preceded by a son: Dan Stouffs, Jr.; a daughter: Debbie Lambert; a brother: Robert Auten; two sisters: Mary Auten, Betty Wilson and a brother-in-law: Charles Hodge.
Visitation will be held on Friday, April 17, 2009 from 2:00 – 4:00 p.m. and 6:00 – 8:00 p.m. at the Myers Funeral Home Huntington Chapel, 2901 Guilford Street, Huntington, Indiana.
Services will be held on Saturday, April 18, 2009 at 11:00 a.m. with one hour of visitation prior to the service at the Myers Funeral Home Huntington Chapel with Pastor Brian Lakin officiating.
Interment will be at the Star of Hope Cemetery in Huntington County.
