She married George Harris in 1841 and resided in Clinch County, Georgia near Argyle. The 1860 census lists her family in Echols county where her husband was a blacksmith.
She later moved to Coffee County and then by the 1890s was back in Echols County. Her husband George died in 1894 and was buried at Union Church in Lanier County. By 1905 she is residing in Clinch County. The 1910 US Census for Cecil, Berrien County Georgia shows her residing with her son James Harris and her age is listed as 93. Her death occurring sometime in or after 1910. She is buried in Union Primitive Baptist Church Cemetery in an unmarked grave. The exact burial site is unknown.
