Margaret Giddings, 84, of Rudyard, died Sunday afternoon at War Memorial Hospital. She had been ill for the past two years. Mrs. Giddings was born in Missouri February 21, 1879, and had resided in Chippewa county since 1905. She was a member of St. Joseph's Church of Rudyard and its Altar society. Survivors include two daughters, Mrs. Howard Peck and Mrs. Louis Faust, both of Pontiac; three sons, David Barens of Rudyard, Fred Barens of Fibre and Henry Barens of Pontiac; one brother, Frank Kramer of Arkansas; 18 grandchildren and 28 great grandchildren. Friends may call beginning at 2 p.m. Tuesday at the Quinnell Funeral Home, where the rosary will be said Tuesday evening at 8:30. Funeral services will be conducted Wednesday at 9:30 a.m. at St. Joseph's church at Rudyard with the Rev. Frank Gimski officiating. Burial will be in North Rudyard Catholic Cemetery. . -Sault Ste.
