The Will mentions wife Sybel and children Ann Kimball, sons, John, Asa, Hezekiah and Josiah.
Josiah was the son of *Issac and *Ann (Kenrick) Hammond
Headstone Inscription
Josiah Hammond died Oct. 5, 1793 in ye 94th year of age.
Beloved in Life, Lamented in Death, he calmly bid adieu to this world, with the pleasing hope of Life Immortal beyond the Grave.
"Behold, my friends, as you pass by,
As you are now, so once was I,
As I am now, so you must be,
Prepare for death and follow me."
