April 25----After a short Illness there died at his residence, Cunningham Ave, Alonzo Eastlake, in the 70th year. He was a much respected and lifelong resident of Kent County. He was a member of the Baptist Church, a Staunch Reformer in politics, acted as postmaster at Palmyra for several years, and of late has been a mail carrier. A widow and three sons and two daughters survive him. The funeral will take place tomorrow at the house at 1:30 pm and proceed to Greenwood Cemetery for interment. His son Conductor Stewart Eastlake, of St. Thomas, is in town for the funeral, C Eastlake, of Kingsville, was in town Sunday attending the funeral of his brother.
